Discovery Bay Lighthouse

Discovery Bay is the first delta community to have a lighthouse, thanks to residents Ed and Jean Stewart and Reclamation District 800. The lighthouse project began in 2004, and on June 18, 2013, the 10,000 pound structure was erected on the levee near the Discovery Bay marina.
